☯ I Ching Hexagram Meaning
Holding Together brings good fortune to those who unite around a genuine, shared center. Returning again and again for guidance is without blame, as long as the return is sincere. But union delayed too long, or sought only reluctantly, brings its own misfortune — the invitation to real connection does not stay open indefinitely.
Water rests upon the earth, filling every low place it touches without hesitation. In the same way, a wise leader builds close, generous relationships and grants support to every person willing to hold true to a shared purpose.
You are being invited to bond more closely with people, a group, or a purpose that could genuinely hold you — a team, a partnership, a community aligned with what actually matters to you. Holding Together suggests this union is available, but it does require a real decision, not a half-hearted approach.
This energy asks you to choose sincerely rather than stay noncommittally on the edge. Hesitating too long, testing loyalty rather than offering it, or joining only when convenient tends to undercut the very connection you are seeking. Real belonging asks for genuine investment, given early rather than withheld until it is proven safe.
What relationship or group are you standing just outside of, waiting for a guarantee that will only ever come from committing first?
